Fine Art Technician
A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Fine Art Technician to join our client, a Fine Art Transport Company based in London.
As the Fine Art Technician, your role will be to working alongside the wider tech team, helping move and hang artworks across different locations.
Daily duties will involve driving, lifting and moving artwork and materials, as well as assembling, constructing and disassembling artworks.
Fine Art Technician key areas of responsibility:
- Have a good understanding of how to safely move expensive pieces of art
- Be well presented in front of various clients including High Net Worth individuals
- Ensure all tools and work-related equipment are well looked after.
- Attend regular meetings with the management to discuss progress of production, refinement of processes etc.
On a day-to-day basis, you will be assembling, constructing and disassembling artworks, so having experience handling, packing and hanging art is required for this role.
We are looking to hear from candidates who have knowledge of painting techniques and materials, as well as previous experience of the production and installation of 2D artwork projects.
Required skills and experience of the Fine Art Technician
- Excellent communication skills.
- Commercially minded.
- Must have a good level of fitness.
- You must be able and willing to drive a Luton van (standard UK driver's license)
